Looking back on 2015
31 December, 2015

2015 has been a great year for us and we’re always delighted to have you with us on the journey. With an ever expanding range of products and a growing customer base Shipley Health Store is looking forward to a bright 2016 with some great and exciting projects on the way to share with you.

We’d like to thank all of our partners who we have collaborated with over the past year. Particularly Gazegill Organic Farm and Emma’s dairy and Goosemoor Organics working with us to bring you organic produce. From eggs and milk to sprouts to spuds, they have worked tirelessly to bring some of the best organic fruits, vegetables and dairy produce to you our customers. Follow them on social media at - @GoosemoorOrganics / www.facebook.com/goosemoororganics and @Gazegill /www.facebook.com/RawOrganicCowsMilk for regular updates from their end.

Another big thank you goes to our friends over at the Cellar Trust for their ongoing collaboration across a range of projects and Jack First for supplying signed copies of his book – “Hot Beds – How to Grow Crops Using an Age-Old Technique” and his continuing support for the shop.

Within the store, we have focussed on expanding our range of goods and services and to further provide a useful and helpful shop.

In so doing we hope we have increased our standing as a destination store for Bradford and Airedale.

A huge area of growth for the shop has been Auntie Bal’s Organic Indian Street Food, supplying West Yorkshire with some of the tastiest lunchtime treats in the area. We are really excited about working with Bal and her delicious organic street food in the aim to grow our menu into 2016.

But it’s not just Auntie Bal that’s been working away in the shop kitchen this year, Caro our in-house baking aficionado has been working hard to bring you some delicious organic, vegan and gluten-free cakes and bakes all year round. Watch this space for more of Caro Bakes in 2016.

Most importantly of all we want to say a huge thank you to our loyal customers, without you we couldn’t exist. Our aim is to help you to help yourself through our ethos of ‘Looking after You’. We are touched and both privileged to be a part of this.

Happy 2016 x
