Pu'er is one of China's most illustrious and intriguing teas. Since the Tang Dynasty it has been prized for both its distinctive, earthy taste and its reputed health benefits. Grown and made in Yunnan province using secret techniques, Pu'er tea was traded on the ancient Tea Caravan route which led into the towering Tibetan mountains. Particularly enjoyed after a heavy meal, in Chinese tradition Pu'er is said to bring the digestive system into balance.
