Gluten - Free Pancakes

Make this delicious, flexible and simple pancake recipe for this Pancake Day. Made from ingredients that can be exclusively bought at Shipley Health Store.


Serves 2



1 cup Gluten-Free Plain Flour (any other plain flour or buckwheat can be used)

1 cup whole milk (for a vegan version, replace with any other milk substitute e.g. soya)

1 egg (can be replaced with vegan egg subsitute)



Seive the flour into a large mixing bowl.

Whisk in the milk and the eggs.

Warm a large, shallow frying pan with a little bit of vegetable oil.

Leave to stand for 20 minutes.

Place one ladel onto the pan and spread as thinly as possible.

Fry on each side of a minute each or until golden brown.

Drizzle on some maple syrup and enjoy!
